  • @Castaril

Clearly, you've got a mind of value because you subscribe to Thom Hartmann on RT America, but Nellie's sense of humor is so subtle as to challenge your comfort zone. Yes, she does like sexual attention, you got that right. Try a little harder to sense what she is complaining about as a feminist.

  • Of the many videos of Nellie McKay singing this song, titled The Pearl, this is probably her best, and altho the video quality is not the best color-wise and resolution-wise, the audio is first rate, with a tiny lavalier microphone wrapped around the house microphone right at her lips picking it all up.

Regrettably, when she does her dance break my video misses her slight lifting of her skirt hem, a humorous gesture mocking the typical flash of thigh in American culture.

    I love it. I'm hooked

  • @Castaril - Women don't do everything for male attention, you know.

  • @EvilsOfFeminism Rawr! I am sad lonely internet troll who is threatened by women and probably has mommy issues! Rawr! Calling you a cunt is going to INTIMIDATE YOU!!!!

Also: *Thumps Chest* Me have poor spelling and grammar! CUNT!!!!

  • @Moarbiscuits How? Oh, that's right. I was looking really hard at your post for this thing called proof, and then I realized that it wasn't actually there. No, you're so fucking right, though. I just totally believe you without any evidence or logic what-so-ever! Your thought policing is SOLD. PLEASE just tell your slaves what to think. Or maybe you can take your happy ass out into the real world and watch the first motherfucker you talk to throw you through a wall, cunt.

  • It's really sad how so many of you people don't get the message of this song

  • @EvilsOfFeminism Pontificate poorly elsewhere, because you're full of shit.

  • I love her tongue in cheek approach at politics and social issues. Not to mention she's pretty easy on the eyes...unfortunately morons will only see her as another pretty face and nice voice.

  • Saw her last night opening for the wonderful Madeleine Peyroux at Tarrytown Music Hall. Fantastic in every way. WHat a talent!
