Clearly, you've got a mind of value because you subscribe to Thom Hartmann on RT America, but Nellie's sense of humor is so subtle as to challenge your comfort zone. Yes, she does like sexual attention, you got that right. Try a little harder to sense what she is complaining about as a feminist.

Just because a woman dyes her hair, wears makeup, chooses to dress in a way that accentuates their body, it does not mean that she is doing it to benefit the men around her. Many women choose to look good for themselves and others choose to do it for men, but there is a distinction between the two.

Did Castaril say anything about consent (presumably for sex)? Or did he/she just say 'sexual attention', such as looking at someone? YOU read something into it b/c you are fighting an imaginary argument.

I love the way she just assumes that prostitution is oppression. Case closed. Screw feminism's original stance on prostitution. Just go with whatever the current thought police are endorsing.

All this I know. I simply stated that men are not ENTITLED to sex. Ever. I also stated this a year ago. Please don't drag me back to comments I made a year ago.

(cont.) She's arrested and stripped of her freedoms because feminists have pushed through laws specifically to tell her what she can and can't do with her body and her mind. This scenario applies to both women and men. Criminalizing prostitution is dangerous and immoral. Regulation and transparency is what's needed.

Imagine a woman who finds herself attractive, she is intelligent enough that her well balanced upbringing has left her with a healthy sense of self worth and the knowledge that her body is hers to do with as she likes. She's attracted to men and women, and enjoys sex as both physical and emotional sustenance. She sees that there is a demographic of people that may not be as fit to compete sexually with their peers and decides that they will be the market with which she makes her living.

And if she didn't you'd be saying "ugly cow, she's never going to get laid looking like that!" Don't you think it's a little tough for women when it's either "do they not sell beauty products where you live?" or "yep, eyeliner, that's totally her giving consent"?

I meant "who are you?" as in "who are you with respect to this conversation? What is your interest in it?" And oh no, some stranger on the internet threatened to call me a sexist slur. Thanks for the tip; I will continue to comment as I see fit.
