  • rob do have a son named nick and r u from novia scoia?/ because you talk like my cousin from there and remind me of his dad?

  • No sorry, I have a son named Andy, and I am from Michigan. We are only a few miles from Canada here, so our accents are similar.

  • what if you can recite the exact notes without reference around you (aka no guitar)?

    say...: C C G G A A G- F F E E D D C

its simple its just in a major key.

  • That's right. Now you need to be able to play the melody through the proper chord changes without mistake. If you can, you don't need this. Most people can't.

  • Aaaarrggh - I can't do it!!!

  • Fran, you are too honest. I love your playing anyway. Slack key doesn't lend itself to improvisation. It does sound great, and you are a master.

  • No sweat on that, thanks for keeping with us.

  • Thanks Mike. I lost a couple of MP4s trying to download. I must have been trying to run too many programs. It should all be working in a few minutes.

  • Rob, this is a great thing you are doing. I know there has been alot of chatter over at the Acoustic Guitar Forum. I am really looking forward to the next seven weeks.

  • Folks, the others are coming up slow. I should have never posted at 6:00 PM. Everything is going slow.
