HobbyKing EasyFly (power pod) w/ FMA CPD4 onboard HD Wing 720 and HD Sony Webbie

On-going test for the moded HobbyKing EasyFly ST-330 (power pod) with the FMA CPD4 IR stabilization system to be used for aerial videos using the HD Sony Webbie and HK HD Wing 720 cameras. Test was conducted on a windy morning but the CP2 was able to stabilize the EF to get great videos.

The HD Wing 720 was mounted on the wing rear facing while the HD Sony Webbie (with a wide angle lens) was mounted forward facing. The Wing camera has a more sensitive microphone and was warmer in tone vs the Webbie. The Webbie had a more natural consistency in the tone and better video clarity.

Test confirmed the moded ST-330 EasyFly makes a very good aerial video platform with the FMA Co-pilot 2 IR unit. The HD Sony Webbie performed very well with the WA lens. The HD Wing 720 performed okay and would be suitable for smaller models that cannot handle the weight of the Webbie.
