Warm Springs Indian Pow Wow traditional womens team dance 1

1998 Warm Springs Native American Indian Pow wow. Traditional women's team dance no. 1. The Warm Springs reservation in the state of Oregon is made up of three tribes - The Wasco, Walla Wallas and Northern Paiutes. Northern traditional Indian womens dancing is a graceful dance, where their leather fringes sway with the beat of the drum as the move across the dance areana in a graceful motion. The women wear full beaded outfits and traditional basket hats as they carry corn husk bags. Traditional Plateau area Native women's attire.

Many of the dancers come from the surrounding area in the Pacific Northwest, like Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Western Canada and California.

As for time, you have to pay attention to the announcer for your Contest Time or Inter Tribal Dance or the Specials or the Give Aways. lol
