Meadow on the Green, September 7, 2008:
The Canadian Horse Association of Alberta presented a demonstration of the national horse of Canada, the 'little iron horse'. We were very pleased to see that one of the riders chose to do all her demonstrations, and to entertain the crowds at Spruce Meadows in a Nurtural bitless bridle.

  • @beauty101115 i am from quebec. but i always thought it was spelt canadien lol thats a very good point. 8) lol

  • @beauty101115 um accually i understand your family has history with theese horses, but there is a French Canadien horse and then Canadian, they are the same thing except the French ones are from around Quebec and the east coast. And Canadien is how the french spell Canadian.

  • its actually spelt Canadien Horse. my mom has been breeding them since i could remember. i currently own 2 ...they are beautiful

  • geez, iv been riding for ten years with a bit, and i dont think ill ever be able to ride like that without one! coodos to the guys!

  • I couldn't see any "seesawing", maybe just a little bouncing or unsteady hands - but the thing is, its not causing pain to the horse. "Bitless" is a pretty wide aspect though, going "Nurtural" or using a dr.cook's is totally different - no pain! Beautiful horses :)

  • i own one too he is the best horse in the world

  • I own a Canadian. Got him (first Canadian I've ever owned) earlier this year. I adore him. I've added your video to my signature on a horse forum :)

  • Stunning horses!

  • Anyone know what the music was in the background? What a gorgeous breed of horse.
