Ok ppl, if Im not mistaken Raiden [originally] was asian/korean...sooooo, Id prob get Cho Yun Fat, Ken Watanabie or Russell Wong to play him..! The dude from NINJA ASSASSIN as Liu kang and perhaps the villain from FORBIDDEN KINGDOM as Shang Tsung! *Honestly, some 'unknowns' should portray the "kombatants" (but actors who can ACTUALLY ACT)..! AND THEY DONT NEED EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER FROM THE GAME IN THE MOVIES - **ONLY THOSE ESSENTIAL TO THE STORY BEING TOLD! :-)

As far as Sonya goes, Scarlett, as beautiful as she is, just doesn't fill the role in my eyes. Sonya Blade isn't just a hottie in the traditional sense, it's her strength, maturity, experience, and overall ripeness in a hardened life of criminal justice that makes her the character that she is. Scarlett is just far too "cute" and young

for this role.

Vin would make a better reptile. Jet Li shouldn't even be included for this movie, along with Jackie... Sorry = \ I'd want to see younger, less flexed actors for the roles of Liu Kang and Kung Lao. Neeson is a great pick for Raiden. If Christian Bale MUST be in your version... he should be Sub Zero. Lou Diamond would be a reasonable Shang Tsung. Jason Stathom for Scorpion. I would mind seeing Lynn Williams assume his role as Jax, and I'd like to be surprised with Sonya.

Interesting :) Liam Neeson as Raiden - you've got a point there, really! An unearthly, almost godlike character, kind of demigod, with his eyes shining blue - no-one but Neeson ;) Even face features are quite similar
