Diegetic Music (Nightclub Scene)

A little something I was commissioned for in the last year of Uni. The editor/creator of a final year project wanted some original music fitting for a nightclub scene in his short film.

It was an incredibly hectic period for a lot of people, myself included, so in the end I slightly modified two existing compositions (progressive, lounge type) so that they would gel nicely with the length of the scene. Additional post effects were done by another party.

Diegetic sound is any sound or music which is based within the environment of the film, tv, game etc. Source music, if you like.

yeah, diegetic sound is cool. Was just reading about diegetic music in the show The Wire. But seriously ... daaaang that slap looked brutal! haha ouch. Pressed 9 while watching the vid like 5 times to see that dude getting cracked on the freakin' ear. Sheesh.

shame the little movie got in the way of the music. I know those songs too. I'll have to look for them but i'll know them when i see them :P
