Scuba Obsessed Darrin first ice dive

Here is a video of Scuba Obsessed Darrin on his first ever ice dive. While he has been in cold water, this day the lake was completely frozen over. After a good pre-dive brief and cutting an entry through the ice with the chainsaw, the dive was on! The air was 25f and the plan was to enter and remain directly beneath the entry. It was a successful dive and everyone had a blast. Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to the next time!

Done that before. Ice diving up 1600 ft in the mountains under a foot and 1/2 thick of ice in a 7mm wetsuit. Only lasted 13 minutes as there was absolutely nothing to look at, Just one muddy bottom. So it was like 2 specialty dives in one. Altitude diving and Ice diving @ the same time.
