SO MUCH HAPPENED BEFORE DOROTHY DROPPED IN.

Long before that girl from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the land of Oz. One - born with emerald green skin - is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. How these two grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good makes for the most complete - and completely satisfying - new musical in a long time (USA Today).

On Broadway and around the world, WICKED has worked its magic on critics and audiences alike. Winner of 35 major awards, including a Grammy® and three Tony® Awards, WICKED is Broadways biggest blockbuster and the defining musical of the decade (The New York Times).

  • I saw this exact show live. Same actors and everything. It was indescribable.

  • thanks for uploading!

  • this was my first on-stage musical, my dad took me as an Christmas present (only it was just the KC cast not across america) but it was still amazing! Defying Gravity became my instant fave scene!! this play just gives you chills!!

  • what is the witches name?

  • OMG amazing!!!!

  • this "trailer" of the musical makes me want to cry, especially the part where the hugged. it was obvious elphaba wasn't all that evil. thinking about it now, it's sad how she dies in wizard of oz.

  • Best....Musical...Ever!!(:

  • @TheCoryChannel Yea I agree Broadway is a whole step up of experience than tour, Nothing wrong with the tour at all its cheaper and still gives a great view of the show. The set is a lot bigger than the tour and i can't remember but its incredible.

  • @namphong0612 Im going in September, and im going to Broadway. It depends, Broadway has a better set, and a whole different experience than the tour. But the tour is far cheaper, and is still quite amazing. The Broadway set is far more extravegant than the tour, because it is sationary. While the tour is limited on the caliber of a set.. because they have to mold it to many different theatres across the country. Hope that helps..

  • I'm going to see Wicked this Sep, and deciding if I should go to see it in Boston instead of Broadway (as it's closer to my town, and maybe cheaper).

I just wonder if the stage set is the same (the dragon clock and the likes)?
