Congressman Don Manzullo (R-IL) joined his colleagues on the steps of the Capitol for a news conference to protest Speaker Pelosi's government takeover of health care. Manzullo supports an alternative bill that the Congressional Budget Office states would reduce health care premiums up to 10 percent and cut the deficit by $68 billion without raising taxes and without forcing Americans out of their private health insurance.
We need MORE Congresswomen & Congressmen who are willing to tell it like it is like Don was... Especially considering the damage that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi continue to do to this nation...

If only the Congressman had such passion about reducing taxes in his own district. My taxes have increased by 5% in the last 18 months. Stop the show the Congressman.

The Republican bill, which has no chance of passage, would extend insurance coverage to about 3 million people by 2019, and would leave about 52 million people uninsured, the budget office said, meaning the proportion of non-elderly Americans with coverage would remain about the same as now, at roughly 83 percent.
