  • im so GLAD that prop 8 was voted in AND supported by supreme court!!!!1 god bless the u.s.a! keepin it real!

  • You know, this was the most non offensive response from a pro* person I've read. Our disagreement on prop 8 aside, thank you for hitting a positive note. God bless the U.S.A.!

  • i dont hate gays.... i just dont agree with the marrage.

  • it's so much better when the debate stays on policy an off emotion. Thanks.

  • Plus, so many people are suffering and unhappy because prop 8 passed, and yet no one would have been nearly as upset if it had failed. That's my point of view.

  • I agree and appreciate your insights. The general consensus agrees with you about teh Mormon church's involvement. I jsut always find confusing the involvement of spiritual orgainzations with social policy; I'm not sure how it aids in the practitioner's pursuit of a close relationship with the Divine.

  • I personally think the main reason Prop 8 was passed in CA was because of the huge amount the Mormon church donated for it. It was a huge issue during meetings, and enormous donations were handed in every day. This may not be the main cause, but it was certainly a major benefactor.

I respect you for speaking out like this. Not many people publicly announce that they fully support the concept of same-sex marriage. I fight homosexual discrimination by supporting my friends and my brother.

  • one "g" in fag.

  • "Sticks and stones" Mr. Hatey.

  • bbs -- Although we do not agree, I do appreciate your position. One of the wonderful things about a democratic society is that reasonable minds can disagree.

    best wishes,
