This explains a REAL energy source that is yet untapped. It explores using spent nuclear fuel for energy instead of just hiding it underground.

  • Nuclear not Nucular

    Lame idea

  • VERY GOOD IDEA *****

  • They will need replacing. Think about cost of replacing versus revenue of the "free energy" you get from the by-products.

If anything, the by-products contain a large percentage of fuel that doesn't even get used. You should really be more concerned about the wasted fuel, rather than the utilization of the by-products. Reprocessing plants retrieve the fuel that isn't used. Sensitive stuff, yes, but that's another story.

  • A+ for reading, brah!

On topic, "spent fuel" should be called by-products. By-products are more radioactive than fuel. Explains why you can carry Uranium around in a plastic bag... I'd like to see you do that with Co-60.

By-product radiation releases high energy particles, as you said. That means you're going to need to think about the materials used to tap this so called "free energy source". Think about replacing these energy tappers. They will get damaged.

  • Clear, lucid and to the point.

  • Carter issued an executive order stopping the reprocessing of nuclear waste.

that is why we have nuclear waste in such great quantities.

    it is all about control.

they don't want peons to have an easy life, we might take on the gov.

  • Btw, This is a fantastic idea. 5 stars!!!!

  • Free energy engines can not exist. They violate the laws of thermodynamics. The most efficient manner of extracted energy is colliding matter with anti-matter. This technology is way off into the future.

  • Nice idea. Keep up the good work. Anywho can you actually gather energy from gravitional force, Like building a gravity engine or something?
