HOLY ISLAND SKIES. This song was inspired by a visit to Lindasfarne, which is off the coast of Northumberland,
England. The song was written following an exchange of images I had with the writer, who is a close friend of mine, Strummer Swansong.
The island is also known as Holy Island. This breathtakingly beautiful place has been the home of magic and mystery for thousands of years.
You can feel something in the rocks and the air.The visit took place on the night of the Summer Solsctice. The Northern Midnight Light
that bathed the sand and village remains in the memory forever. The defining line of the song is "Ancient souls who walk alone, leaving our
