In this Monday Movie I explore the virtues of static UVW mapping through the modifier stack in 3dsMax. It's a nifty technique for when you want a model to match the texture of an object, rather than the other way around!

  • There are the best tutorials I have yet come across. Your delivery is immaculate and witty, and your accent is ideal laid back yank that sounds very easy on the ear. I am so glad i found these and will watch all of them. They are effortless to learn.

  • @tedchirvasiu

He used the "cut" tool from the editable poly vertex menu, the hotkey for it is Alt+C (I had problems to find that either, the hint was "I can just cut direct from my model" at 4:00)
