FREEPORT IS SOO BORING, PORT LUCAYA MARKET PLACE IS ALSO BORING. IF YOU WANT A GREAT VACATION AVOID FREEPORT & GO TO JAMAICA

its shitty in port lucaya, we stayed at the island palms resort and it was worse...stay at the sheraton or t he westin... and the only thing to do is go to the beach ...that gets tiresome after day 3

@Britishdave09 Are you sure about that? I was just there in December 2009 and everything was up and running. Wasn't run down at all. It may have been closed down temporarily due to hurricane damage...

This place permanently closed down last month. I stayed there in 2008 and it was run down but a awesome location

This is a cool hotel to stay at the ocean is across the street about 4 minute walk I stayed there in 99 and 2002..If I go back I would stay there again.
the people were friendly, also you can catch a taxie go downtown.
