Jack said to her,"My father would never have gone to prison if he had never met you. And we both know what prison did to his health."
That's true. John's health deteriorated from being in prison. John went to prison for killing Tom Fisher. John only went after Tom because Tom was hounding the Abbott family, but Tom would never have been hounding the Abbott family if GLORIA had never become part of it.
