  • @DBSbass....... First things first, it not a toy-- it's a tool. "Ones and zeros do not make up for great gear"-- you're right.

The only 'One' and 'Zero'--- is YOU.

  • @ premierguitar Hi mate.. nice demo by the way.. mate, i bought a Roland V-Bass Multi FX system.. but i don't have the GK thing, will it still work? i tried fiddling with it.. but i just can't change the sound of my bass, even if i shift the patch into FRETLESS, JB slap, Funky Man etc.. my bass still sound the same. hope u could help me mate. thanks .

  • @TheCella95 about 1000eur

  • How much pay this pedal?

  • You guys can say whatever you want but.....I myself am a professional touring and session bassist that has toured and played with some great names and I don't care, I bring my rig......if I want to hear an upright I will play mine (even on tour). And you are right it is my opinion, and in my opinion that thing is nothing more than an over priced toy

As CLOSE to real as it sounds it will never sound as good as the real thing.

Ones and zeros do not make up for great gear

  • @coatlecue Yes he is good except his walking with the upright sound left a lot to be desired. I'd guess he's not a Jazz player.

  • @DBSbass You have a right to your opinion of course but remember, it's only YOUR opinion. Personally I think it sounds great but it's too expensive for something that will be seldom used but if someone wants to give me one I'll take it.

  • @DBSbass Did you not hear the upright patch? No way, these things rock! I'm a pro bassist & sound engineer. You can't judge the sound from a youtube video, man. Products like this and the Tech21 PSA-1.1 are making amps and rack gear obsolete. All your comp and EQ's (+ any other signal processing) are inside, and it has way more parameters than any amp & rack gear does. Only pro consoles give you full bandwidth controsl such as "Q" setting on the Comp. Everyone uses IEMs live nowadays anyway!

  • well now then!!! a real musician who's more intrested in playing and technique than "tweaking " the controls. nice toys sure but he probably could make a rubber band sound musical. a good hired gun+a cheap rig>a fine expensive rig+a hack no practising wanna be
