The Conduit was released in June 2009. It was developed by High Voltage Software and published by Sega.
The Conduit features up to 12 players in online matches and it is the first FPS on the Wii, and only the second game on the Wii, to use Wii Speak.

Call of Duty: World at War was released in November 2008. It was developed by Treyarch and published by Activision.
Call of Duty: World at War has up to 8 players in online matches.

Call of Duty: World at War was released for the Wii and has garnered more favorable reviews than The Conduit.

Perhaps based on graphics and controls...compared to Call of Duty: World at War, but not to online play.

Call of Duty: World at War didn't have the spawn bug...The Conduit did. The spawn bug was absolutely horrendous for The Conduit, and it was basically the main reason I traded the game off when I did.

The conduit is Way better than cod. Better graphics, better controls. Overall conduit is awesome

@steviefan96 But...the online play in Call of Duty: World at War was smoother than The Conduit's, with fewer bugs/hacks/glitches, so Call of Duty: World at War was my preferred FPS at the time.

From what I know, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex and Call of Duty: Black Ops are both really solid online, and offer customizable controls...so here's hoping Conduit 2 can up the bar again.

on average how long does it take to get a game started on the conduit?

also, what other modes beside free for all is there? is there CTF and teams?

and can you play with random people or do you have to play with friends only?

Average is hard to say with The Conduit, because of the spawn glitch that is random. If everything works smoothly, I would say average is probably 3 minutes.

There are other modes in The Conduit, with CTF and teams.

Also, you can play with random people, that's how both these matches were set up.

Lots of peopel say conduit is easy and stupid...but honestly, when I went back to my other ps3 games, they aiming and killing was a LOT easier because you barely have to think about aiming, you hardly have to shoot to kill enemies because headshot means instant death, unlike in teh conduit where a freaking round from the SCAR so far besides teh SAW kills an enemy before they can kill you while you attempt to run out and fire at their head. This game actually made me better at my other games.
