Left 4 Dead Versus Shortcut: Apartment Jump

This is a shortcut for versus mode at the beginning of No Mercy. As you may know, there are two air conditioning units in the campaign mode which can be jumped on easily, however they have been removed for versus mode. I've been trying to find a new shortcut, and this is what I've found since.
TUTORIAL:
First, you must turn right and go to the back corner of the roof, on the side facing the alleyways. Jump on the ledge, and turn your character's body so they're facing the building opposite the apartment exit door. Inch your way off of the ledge, facing down, until you can see a small box-like object right underneath you. Aim close to this. You will not actually land on this, as it is not a tangible object (you'll fall right through it and die). Instead, there is a pipe sticking up next to it that hugs the corner of the building. Above it is a small, invisible platform, which is where you will land. Now here's the tricky part: you must jump and fall along the side of the building. This can prove to be extremely difficult as your character likes to hang on to the ledge when they fall and plead for help. However, this can be avoided by staying close to the building when you jump. For instance, if you try to jump way out, then pull yourself back in, your character will float back to the ledge and go into the animation. However, if you don't jump far out, and keep your jump as close the the building as possible, they will fall. I have no idea why it works this way but it is something I've picked up on after trial and error. Try it a couple of times.
NOTE: You may want to heal yourself on the invisible ledge so that you have a fighting chance if zombies swarm you right when you jump down. Also, always check for smokers on the adjacent building first thing.
