@joesudbury No. But he is blocking light. I have something very similar in my 5'x5' south facing window. I don't have additional glass I'm just using the window itself. I tested the ambient solar heat through the window before the heater was installed and the best I ever got on a 45*F sunny day was 90*F in that window sill. I get up to 130*F with the solar heater. It heats from 9am to about 5pm when the sun goes behind the garage. It raised my house temp from 63.5 to 70* today. :o)

Come on man, this could be an assistance but 130 degree's really is not that hot coming out and would cool quickly in the ambient air, what is your heating bill since you installed it is what I am interested in.

By having this installed in your window aren't you blocking free heat that would normally pass through the window from the sunshine?
I do think this is a good idea though.

please show us the other side too
no it is actually concentrating the light the would have come through the window because the other side of the unit is flat black and there are 5 other windows in the sunroom where this thing is located
