This is my first video in a while and it's actually not zelda, it's okami. I recently played through Okami and I found myself to enjoy it very much. This was actually supposed to be a video of a different OoB that I found but I recorded the one that was already found by accident. I'll upload that later, this video is mainly for the idea of cutscene skip anyway.

When I performed the glitch, I noticed orochi's bell on my fall and decided to see what would happen if I struck it for the 8th time while falling (the first time I tried to strike it I missed). I attempted this in my video and as you can see it did not skip the cutscene, but I was always doubtful that it was going to work like it does in OoT and MM where you fall during a cutscene to skip it. if it did skip the cutscene then it would be great because it's a non- 'skip with + button' cutscene and compared to the other non-skippable cutscenes it's quite long. as always, comment as I love to read your feedback

  • So you enjoyed Okami? This game is hella good! And you found somethnig nice here.

If you don't know about the kt glitch yet, then then I may explain it know:

In a new game + file, when you do a mid air dash and transform in another karmic transformation, you can do another dash on the first frame after the pause menu disapeared and you can jump again during this second air dash.

You can do it over and over but since it is frame perfect, it is nearly impossible (and harder on Wii than on PS2).

  • @MajoraMIM thanks, I've been meaning to talk to you about okami, does that glitch mean that you gain more hight or is it like lots of mid-air dashes slowly losing height? it sounds really cool and I would love to see a video, is there one already up?

  • @Glitches0and0stuff No vids of kt glitch were uploaded. I could make one this week, but this glitch is a pain in the ass to pul off and my archos desynch video during recording which will make it even harder.

It let you gain height every time you do the trick. With wall jump or double jump you'll get high pretty fast which leads to some big sequence breaks like Iriwaku shrine early or Sei-ian early. I don't know how many and how useful are the uses of this glitch.

  • @MajoraMIM thanks for all this info, I'll talk to you more about it on PM

  • Sorry but this glitch had already been found, I saw a vid of it long time ago on YT. Still I hope you will find other glitches man, this game is awesome!

Actually I found some OOBs too but never had the motivation to record them... but oh well.

  • @chaoss6 Ok i've found the video you were talking about, it tuns out I got mixed up, the one in the kitchen was the one I found and this one was the other one. I recorded the wrong one :P I'll get the cooking area one up soon.

  • @JosiePika There's a "skip cutscene" option, yes. Press the + button during cutscenes and it skips them.

  • Can you skip ALL cutscenes in the Wii version of Okami?

I would really like to know because I want to get this game but be able to skip the parts with True Form Sakuya and Rao. (doesn't want to get parents heated up)

  • Peanut butter jelly time!

  • @Glitches0and0stuff : No, I was really talking about this place ^^ ! I didn't even know the same glitch could be done in the cooking area. But I can't find the vid anymore, maybe it's removed,... whatever!

  • @Glitches0and0stuff I managed to get it two times in a row on wii and get Sei-ian early and noble city early, but that's all and I didn't found any uses. Iriwaku shrine early requires 4 times in a row which is almost impossible on Wii (excepted if a turbo move wiimote exist but I never heard of it).

On ps2 groobo estimated a sub 3 hours run easily possible since good mashing skillz get the glitch easily.

  • I love okami. It gets a bit annoying at the end, but it's a fantastic game to play through.
