Prague Day 8 - Part 1

This was our first full day in Prague and neither the weather nor the scenery disappointed. We started with a walk across the Charles Bridge which connects the Old Town and the New Town of Prague. There are oversized statues that watch your every move as you cross the bridge. These were put there as part of the propaganda from the Catholic church to get the Protestants to convert. There was some construction going on to repair and maintain the bridge - but no matter - it's still a picturesque stroll among artisans, street musicians, and artists selling their wares. We did a lot on day 8, so much that we put it into two movies.
