Back in 2003, when I was just an innocent lad, I was listening to the local hard rock station when "Mandatory Metallica" came on. This was the first song they played, and the first Metallica song I'd ever really listened to. It blew me away, and honestly changed my life. I'd never really liked contemporary music, and this opened my eyes to the good OLD stuff. I don't know if I even would have started playing musical instruments if not for this.

So, thanks, Metallica, for making my life rock.

@demolishb98 i don't think that is quite fair to say, i am a teenager and i love rock music, especially metallica, my hopeful gf listens to classical music, one of my other friends listens to country music. one more thing, just because peole like u and me hate justin beiber's music, that doesn't mean that everyone has to, everyone is intitled to their own opinions and interests
