This project is the result of a collaboration in ubiquitous computing and documentary storytelling at the new media department at the University of Maine. We set out to build a storytelling and rich media tool using the specific physical characteristics of the iPad.
Nice work technically! Your example of shifting audio and spatial focus in a musical ensemble is very clear.
That said, you don't really say how this might change actual storytelling. Can you imagine imagery that would lend a multivocal or multiperspectival dimension to a story about a political election, a war, or a family?
