Air Crash Drill

Tonite I watched an interesting program on the Chinese channel CCTV 1 where it is shown how an flight attendant should act in case of an emergency landing on sea.
It is a drill on board of a mock aircraft of Xiamen Airlines. The stewardess instructs the passengers to brace for the impact, to unbuckle the belt, to get up and jump off the aircraft onto a sort of lifeboat. It looks very exciting. Very useful for any air traveler to know how a air crash procedure works. Of course, I hope it will only remain an exercise for all of us...

I didn't know that you had to take off your tights in a water landing! Wouldnt that just waste time? This airline must have an excellent dry cleaner if they allow the cabin crew to jump into the pool in uniform!

@AF401 I find it hard to believe that if an attendant slides down, she is able to climb up the steep slide to release the Girt Bar :)
