  • Can you do this to any car with a VIPER alarm system? or does it only work on a Mercedes? my car has an electrically opened trunk and central locking. will it work?

  • @FowVayJetta You can add a newer viper system to your vehicle and it will have this or similar remote with the same features...

  • Awesome stuff guys, just a few questions:

Does the Smartkey come with alarm sensors? As in, let's say your car alarm is triggered, would the it warn you? And if it does, would it state like the car's towed or the front passenger door's being broken into?

How does the antenna (500m range) fit on the vehicle? Do you add an extra one or retrofit it to the MB stock antenna housing?

With the external remote control, can you use that solely without the MB keyfob?

    Is it compatible with keyless-go?

  • @Jasontwt4ever The system currently does not have any alarm interface or sensors but we are working on adding this as an option for 2011. The extended range antenna can be mounted in a few spots.. for best range it is recommended to mount it on the windscreen at the top. If you want a more hidden mount it can be placed above the headliner which will make it invisible but shorten the range by about 10%.

  • @Jasontwt4ever if you want to use the external remote you do not actually need to use the factory keyfob except to actually take over control and drive the vehicle. The steering/gearshift remain locked until a vaild key is present via keyless go or inserted in the ignition. And yes the smartkey starter is compatible with keyless go (push-to-start)

  • Great jon guys!

I have an w203 from'02 and no one in my country knows how to remote start it.

Would you please let me know what do I need in order to acheive the remote start of my MB? Is it a kind of adapter + remotestart alarm or.....???

Thanks. Or just drop me an e-mail on andrei.bolun at yaoo, com

  • We have the W203 covered back to mid model year 2002 so chances are that we have your vehicle covered.( you would need to check the key cylinder configuration for your model). Our product is special in that it is the remote starter+data interface all built into one unit. It uses the factory keyfob to start the vehicle (about 30 m range) or you also have the option of adding an external remote control and antenna which will give you 500 m range.

  • These sounds scare me. its like an Atomic Bomb gonna explode in a sec. lol

  • I thought you can't put a remote start on mercedes, what kind of viper is that??

  • OMG i'm gonna cryyyyyyyyyy :'(, that was beatifull, i'm just stuying for buy my own mercedes x) haha

  • Remote start and other security features are really convenient and great to have.. but I don't understand why they lag way too much. Just look at the delay between a simple lock or unlock button press and the moment the car actually does something.

  • would this work on a 02 w220 s class?

  • can you us e the regular mercedes alarm but have the viper start button

  • From a beautiful remote to a hideous remote...

  • Any idea where I can get this installed for my W212 in the UK?

  • @rducks1 I wish I could say. I have never owned a Lexus, so I can't say. sorry

  • @FowVayJetta does it work on 2010 lexus ls460l?
