@cntwejstprtnd I'm actually taking the highest ASL class at school and know a lot of people in the interpreting program. Some have been interpreting for many years and are still nowhere near as good as that. But i understand some click.. and marlee and her interpreter definitely click! :)

@dylanmac09 Um...lol your comment makes me laugh. Interpreters have to be that good. My interpreter is just as good as her interpreter. My friends have interpreters that are amazing too. If they aren't amazing, then we file a complaint and get a different person to interpret for us. Each deaf person has their own signing preferences and can "click" with certain interpreters better than others.

I am Deaf. You notice how in the beginning and sometimes throughout the clip, the interviewer looks at Jack when he is talking (interpreting for Marlee!) Oh my gosh! That is sooo very offensive to deaf people. I hate that.

Yep. Sometimes if you lost our hearing as a child, you have even a little hearing in one ear the way Marlee does you might be able to pick up spoken language. So while it's not always very clear Marlee herself can and does speak. I've known quite a few folks like that. You can hear her talk in the SVU episodes she guest stars in.

Oh my gosh! She's sooo pretty! She's my favorite celebrity. I would do ANYTHING just to meet her. She's an inspiration to me in many different ways. She's smart and beautiful too. I hope she stars in more shows that I'm actually allowed to watch... I'm only 12 :( I hope one day I can meet you Marlee!
