  • Finely sensitive interpretation, good solution of the registration problem with the triplets. I agree that the Hanging Gardens of Babylon are a brilliant choice of illustration for the video. Please keep on playing with such patience, using inner tension rather than flashy tempos to keep the music going. Thank you!

  • It's interesting, because I had a choir tour to Poland last month, and the organs in all the churches and cathedrals were in a shocking condition (in and around Krakow). This sounds rather better cared for.

  • Alain wrote of this piece that the hanging gardens were the artist's place of refuge, his hiding-place from the world. It was his unassailable sanctuary and shelter, where he was safe. Such a typical and moving image of the tortured genius.
