Back in the early 90's, Producer Dan McKeown wrote and produced a track entitled "Fire Up This Party" featuring members from The Trammps, Double Exposure and Hip Hop pioneer Frankie "Double Dutch Bus" Smith. Engineered by Al Alberts Jr, the track was originally suppose to be released with Planet Entertainment, headed by producer Joe Venerri (Vanilla Fudge, Bob Marley). Though never officially released, the track sat in a box full of unreleased gems that McKeown's produced, and now can be heard thanks to YouTube.com. "This is a part of music history, where multi-platimum artist combined efforts that resulted with a product that defines the Philadelphia's Style with Phillys best.

What a great number. It reminds me of hte early seventies when I went every weeke-end to the disco. The voice of Jimmy Williams is realy fantastic. I saw him perform in Holland with the Trammps and he was the star of the night. I can,t wait for his comeback in 2010. Perhaps with the Trammps again, because Jimmy Ellis is not able to sing anymore.
