so tired of listening to cubans saying ;"if it wasn't for the revolution I wouldn't be where I am right now". Come on, if you have talent, it doesn't matter to what social class you belongs, you will make it no matter what.

A Great Athlete and seems as a fine gentleman.

What an unfortuante way to go out like that - stepping on the curb and breaking an ankle. I think he retired after the next year.

My uncle Zygmunt Zabierzowski from Poland was Juantorena's coach
