I hope that your cause wins out to make Australia safer. I wish we could have a better reporting system than we do in Canada. The issues of having a person who so many people do not know who they are and can not effectively screen their contacts. The abuse is Alberta is so bad that the adults involved with children who have been arrested are not named as if their having been arrested with a group of young offenders they are abusing gives them the right to anonymity.

Good on you Derryn Hinch! Good to see you are looking so healthy. I find it despicable how pedophiles get away with basically a slap on the wrist whilst you get 5 months home detention for advocating protection of the vulnerable and innocent and naming human garbage. There is something seriously wrong with society. It seems to me that this scum have more rights than the victims themselves.

Good to see Derryn back. However, I do disagree with the whole name and shaming of sex offenders. Not because I support them but having grown up in a small town related to a sex offender I know what it can be like for the families of those to be victimized. My days in high school were spent getting beat down for being related to someone... Not something I would wish upon anyone.
