@vtwin4life sue them under the states lemon laws and force them to buy it back!

I'm in the market for a jeep. I always wanted a jeep since i started driving, but bought foreign (Honda). I'm scared to think some shit like this might happen to me. Especially when American Automotive custumer survice continues to suck ass. And what's the deal on this new 2012 engine pentastar? ANYONE KNOW?

so unfortunate that the new jeeps can be such turds. Sounds like you have a throwout bearing issue. I'm suprised the dealership didn't warranty it.

I bought wrangler before 2 month, brand new 2011 with manual trans- and now making clicking sound 3rd gear ......Guys outside their rethink about buying jeeps

Perhaps this is one of the reasons Jeep doesn't offer this manual in it's Liberty Model (and Dodge with the Nitro) anymore.
I'll stay away from them.

I drove one of these and it popped out of 4th a lot

Went to my dealer today... Every 2011 6-speed does this.

Damn dude, did you end up figuring out what it was?
I have a 2011 with 2k miles, second and third feel notchy like the syncro is warn already. I fear I maybe trying to warranty this tranny before long. Second all 6 speeds should come with the rok track. climbing anything like step ups in a standard the stock non rubicon transfercase is a nightmare.

@jaimeson5 Good luck with that. After 13 other Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler products that I've owned and sworn by - Jeep doesn't want to hear about it or know I exist. I bought this vehicle because it was supposed to be tough as nails, only to find out it won't even operate properly under normal conditions. I'm stuck with a $35,000 vehicle I don't dare offroad, and can't trust for normal driving. After being loyal to Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler all my life, this will be my last.
