While waiting in a long queue for departure at New York's Kennedy airport, a Lufthansa flight crew is alerted to a possible fuel panel door open on the outside of the fuselage. After confirmation from another pilot, the Lufthansa pilot requests to leave the aircraft to close the door. After the pilot was cleared to close it, a little giggling from the Tower Controller ensues.

  • I love how the ATC is laughing at the end and barely said the code sign right.

  • "Cleared to close it!"

  • @4thsubaru there is a extendable Stair in front of the nose gear. Witch is a direct access to the avionic compartment. And of course there is a direct access from the cockpit to the avionic compartment

  • @Pa1895 you should review your atpl course or else.... I'm pilot and I can guarantee you that many a/c have airstair....aare you so retarded to think that an airline pilot would have been a mistake to ask it to atc then ? come on!

  • @Bugy34 bullshi...

  • ATC reminds me of John Madden

  • i like how he gave him the go to do so without actually saying it directly, and how the pilot replied... both covering themselves legally xD
