@mrnikko419 Hey dude. Pearl Jam's first show they were billed as Mookie Blaylock and they were one of the opening bands - they were just Stone and Jeff's new band. They didn't change to "Pearl Jam" til sometime in 91.

mrnikko.. ever thought about the possibility that your dad really didn't open for Pearl Jam at their first show? because you know.. maybe he opened for PJ in the same way that 10 million people attended the first Beatles gig or saw Nirvana 'before they got famous'. This is definitely their first show.

This is not their first show ever. My dads band got bumped from a mane slot and became the opener for pearl jam at there first show. And he says that Eddie sang with his back to the crowd the whole time cause he was so nervous. He is facing the crowd in this one. But this is some really rare early footage. Good find! :D

I stepped foot in this place a couple of years ago and it was truly a religious experience. A whole generation was born on this stage, of which I am and always will be, a member of. Long live grunge!!
