Single payer is the only solution. Health insurance companies make money by literally denying basic human rights (life).

HTWW is a fraud.

Wow, that's sound, irrefutable evidence right there. Nice research. My hat's off to you.

@c0nv1ct1337 im not saying that this is simply something the republicans do, democrats do it as well. The point i make is that republicans are much better at it. just look at how Bush's campaign manager was able to coin the term "swiftboating." I tend to hear a lot more nonsense from the right, is all im saying, and so its funny when they actually look to real statistics.
-
What types of judgements are you talking about? The only point i made was that republican strategy is working. I understand that no intelligent conservative believes in the death panel nonsense etc, my point is that thinktanks and corporations have an invested interest in conservative policy so they run often false campaigns to get non-intelligent conservatives to vote republican.
-
You're not better than them if you are making those type of judgments. You mention real statistics that benefit France, Canada, and England yet truth is there are facts for both private and universal healthcare that show its bad and good side. While being a right winger, I personally don't support Obama's healthcare bill (for proper reasons, not death panel B.S.) but I don't support our current system either. Would it be rightfully for you group me in your right wing perspective?

Great points but the ending was unnecessary.
My claim is that Lee intentionally had direct or almost direct quotes from the article in his video that he read off. You don't see his face, instead you see text slideshows to which you'd assume would have the direct facts. It straight to the point and he shouldn't feel the need to completely paraphrase the information. In some cases, he made it shorter or "easier" to understand and only had a slight change.
-
Its funny how right wingers like to look at real statistics until it comes to something like, say, real statistics about healthcare waits and benefits in france, canada, and england, or say studies backed by the geniuses that skillfully manipulated the whole "death panel" scare. The liberals could learn a thing or two from republican practice because its obviously working.
In addition...
It's not plagiarism if he stated the source. Yes, in an academic paper in text citation are necessary but lets not split hairs here.
My point is, you provided great research that Lee's information may in fact be false or skewed. Kudos to you. However, I feel like you lost the grasp of simply disproving someone's information for the need to discredit and bash him. I enjoy watching a great debate but in the end it seems that insult the other person becomes the priority.

@c0nv1ct1337 the point i'm getting at is whether he wanted people to believe he actually did the research or was just citing something he read in a news paper. given the way he worded his video, i'd go with the former. he said, "we'll look at the survey of consumer finances... and also the doj statistics" but the problem is, he never cited either report. all he did was recite what was written in the article he sourced. (cont.)

@cristoballs in other words, he wanted people to believe he actually read through those reports, so much so that he provided the url for the survey of consumer finances report before he listed a link to the article. that link is buried way at the bottom of everything, almost as if he was trying to hide the fact that he didn't actually do any research. if he had just said, "look, i got everything from this article" and gave them credit, i would have let it slide, but he didn't.

I will say this, Obama care is going to crash and burn just like The Massachusettes healthcare we got from the traitor Mitt Romney.
