  • Note: before attempting to clean any computer of viruses/spyware etc, it is strongly recommended to disable system restore since some viruses can contain the same file extensions as Windows files that are audited by System Restore. That means that some of the same viruses that are removed from a computer by AV software can possibly come back again if the virus(es) are backup when a system restore has been already executed before the virus(es) are detected by AV software..

  • I got this out of nowhere. Is it possible to have downloaded itself to my laptop? It wont let me do anything. Help?

  • @WeynWild i did a full scan in safe mode and malware bytes is saying that nothing is found

  • yeah this is fake (antivir)

  • @bamenabar Yeah it's possible. I left for shower for 30 minutes (literally), came back and there it is installed.

Just download Malware Bytes, do a full system scan in Safe Mode and you can remove the infected files once the scan is completed.

  • i dont get it

  • @Progammer1234 doesnt it take everything off ur computer though?

  • Recommend trying SYSTEM RESTORE option under HELP/TOOLS ..Select a few days before the 'infection'. If needed because the virus may deny the HELP feature, shut down & reboot in SAFE MODE .. and operate from that. Worked that way for my WINDOWS XP PRO.

  • please help me nothing is working
