This is my review on the Marked Series by S. J. Day. There are 3 books and then 2 short stories
1- Eve of Darkness
2- Eve of Destruction
3- Eve Of Chaos
4 Eve of Warfare
5-Eve of Sin City http://www.tor.com/stories/2010/07/eve-of-sin-city

Note: Chapter 1 of the first book really confused me because I thought it was the middle of the series. But stick with it because it is really book 1.
