  • Yeah that was an amazing skate. He probably would have won Worlds with that. The fluff piece was very nice too.

  • Have you ever seen his 1996 performance of "Independence Day" from Skate America (which he won)? That was a superb performance, preceded with a great fluff piece about how his hometown supported him and his family for a number of years.

  • I think if he landed the second triple axel it would have probably been a split decision. Very close.

  • Thanks! This is a pretty good performance of "Independence Day." Too bad that Todd fell on that triple axel so late in the program. Perhaps he would have repeated an World champion if that hadn't happened, but Elvis was great too (and I was still very happy for him). I also loved the profile on Todd and interview with his parents before the performance.
