  • If you truly want to know the details of Hogan's golf swing and put them to practice so you CAN get swing that is consistent, go buy a copy of Hogan's Five Lessons. If you already have the book, go back and read it and actually do everything Hogan mentions in his book and you will achieve a consistent golf swing, but the key is to not give up and don't brush details aside. The devil is in the details. If you have any questions about the book, post them here and I'll try to answer them.

    Cheers!

  • Yes practice and more practice does make a good golfer, but for some people they could practice forever and still not achieve anything close.I can't ice skate i could practice 80 hrs a week would get better for sure but would never be professional.

  • @markymonster1 The problem there is, they keep practicing all the wrong moves, so therefore they will never improve.

  • This is an awesome video - the best I've seen by a long way to show what Hogan was really doing.

  • @lawr66

If you want to hit it dead straight, rotate your hips and shoulders from the top of the golf swing, just like Hogan does it. It's a thing of beauty.

  • @markymonster1 I agree, this is due to us lacking one thing that Mr Hogan had "Talent". Now Hogan and Tiger got so damn much of it, that God didn't have enough left to give a tiny bit to us poor hackers. This is why there are some many bad swings out there

  • @markymonster1 If you dont mind me saying, there is no natural genius, what you are seeing here is the result of many years of hard, hard work. Blistered or bleeding hands are no problem for someone like Ben Hogan.

  • @4fingersinge You would with the old clubs it was easy to keep them down

  • I wish I could get that trajectory.

  • imazing brilliant stuff

  • But amazed by this guys natural ability genius this clip show it perfectly....

  • Can't compare but would be interesting how much Ben hogans swing would change to accommodate modern equipment....?
