The Life After

This was a piece I composed for my Experimental Sound Design class. My goal was to make a soothing yet powerful sound-scape that represented the current state of my life. Using all original recordings and a bunch of processing, I managed to get in my opinion a beautiful and powerful piece. I decided to use many natural, simple sounds like water, wind, leaves and rain as well as other sounds like chimes and bells. The melody you hear is by sampling wine glasses being tapped and sent to Kontakt. every sound was processed, time displaced, EQ'd or synthesized. Please give me your thoughts, What emotions does it convey? How does it sound?
