Review Commentary:
At 2:20 p.m., on Black Friday, day after Thanksgiving, the Lexington Ice Rink's students started their performance of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," in Triangle Park twenty minutes late, with amateur audio that was inaudible to most of the audience, and the whole thing fell into the shadow of the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 2:30 p.m.
These adult technical errors overshadowed the great talent of the students and ruined what could have been a lovely afternoon show. Around 2:40 p.m., many audience members gave up and began leaving.
Thus, the Grinch character had a better costume, better skating; stole it, man.
