1pm 1st Saturday of the month test
ALERT signal
Siren is located on top of the Lapeer County Court Building.
They only test March thru October

  • @Archon2561 Yeah all the sirens in Lapeer are 2001's except for this one.

  • I love the fact you can almost always hear the blower.

  • Sounds like it could be on chopper level 3 running on 208V. We've got one in our system that sounds a lot like it. It's on level 3, but it rotates at 4 RPM's instead of 2.

  • @bulldozer950 Not so much, it's most likely a '70s model. It has the newer-style FS logo beside the "THUNDERBOLT" lettering on the rotator box decal.

  • nice 1003! i just found two in Allegan County, which hopefully il get one when they test on the last friday of the month

  • Great video, Eric! That sounds similar to the 1003 in Melvindale, so I assume that it's Chopper Level 2?
