This is a video from our trip to Panama that was filmed mostly on what used to be Howard Air Force Base. We lived on Howard from 1992-1993. The song is A Broken String Production Original.
My name is Shaun and we lived on Howard close to where you were showing, but I can't remember the housing unit number "15something F". I went to Howard elementary and Curundu JHS while in the CZ from 1972-1976. It was nice to see it again!
Thank you.The BX that you pointed to were in the lower level. The upper levels were enlisted quarters. I lived there '75-'77. It overlooked the flightline and was rather loud.Got to se all kinds of aircraft.Every outfit in the world wanted to go TDY there. Thanks again, I have been looking for a picture of my barracks forever. I lost all mine in a fire along time ago.
@TheLucky1967 ...my name is Fernando Waldron...I lived in 1545A...the corner house in front of the steps by where the taxi parked...I used to play basketball all day and night at that goalpost
i lived in that one in 74 the cortez lived to the left it looks way different i loved living there ,that was so crazy when i watched this and u drove right up to my old house
Continued. The beer truck spilled it's load. What a great place to grow up! We spent many days at Ft Kobbe beach, Howard pool and over at Rodman's pool. My Dad worked part time at the theatre and we saw lots of movies there too. We visited Rio Hato, Goofy Falls, Ft San Lorenzo, of course the locks. All the bases and Balboa/Panama City too. Sloths in the trees, fruit trees every where. I went to Cocoli Elm and Howard Elm. Thanks for the updated view, I really want to get back down there!
