benny the jet :*)>~ respected him for so long, i got to try out for a fight scene with Jackie Chan in HongKong in 1990 after a year in China furthering my Kung-Fu, its a shame i never made it into a film to showcase and enjoy time with Jackie ..but i got a cup of tea with him and some others trying out ..good times :*)>~ ..thanks Benny
Brazilian Ju-Jitsu/Shoot fighting are the best style, ask MMA fighters. While MMA tournaments, like the popular UFC, use a mixture of Martial Art forms, it's all heavily based on the ground game and being competent at the grappling game, and that was all introduced to MMA by the Brazilians and their form of Ju-Jitsu grappling as well as Shoot fighters from Japan. Guys like Royce Gracie, Marco Ruas, Ken Shamrock, Dan Sevren, etc. Back in the days when the UFC was like the movie "Blood Sport".
@tranglomango i practice shotokan for 6 years now that lead me to this video ... i saw someone trying to merge my discipline with kempo and that seemed weird ... i'm open to almost all martial arts. i'm faithfull to shotokan but i've tried judo , aikido , box , muay-thai , jiu-jitsu , kenjutsu and all i came across :)) i love the martial art scene , the people the attitude the history ;) and the conversations with martial artists

The soft and hart is also given in goju-ryu. Go=Hard, Ju=Soft though I have to say that Kung Fu is much deeper that karate.
