The starships of the Imperial Navy are the product of centuries of military research and development. The Empire designed its fleet to destroy the Republic as quickly and efficiently as possible. Co-opting newly discovered technologies and revising blueprints according to lessons learned, Imperial engineers built a new generation of starships. First among these, Imperial Intelligence commissioned the X70B-Phantom—the most low-profile, high-tech starship the galaxy has ever known. From its radar-resistant sleek exterior paneling to the next-generation navigation systems, the Phantom is so far ahead of its time that mass production would never be possible. More likely, the experimental prototypes built so far will be designated for critical Intelligence missions, and entrusted only to the most professional and responsible Imperial Agents.

@caerfsn I know your comment is a year old, but as of right now, with the starships, you use them to go from planet to planet within the galaxy. They also serve as homebase and come with a storage compartment, like a bank, as well as house your companions and come with a holocom device for quests, and you can pick up quests for space battles, where you fly the ship and try to complete the objective.

@caerfsn You can go to planets, but the ship simply lands at the space port. It's a space ship. There might possibly be flying mount-like speeder things one day though.
