Lisa singing urge for going

Everywhere I go, people say "Gosh, you look just like Joni Mitchell!" Anyway, for years I didn't really even know who she was or any of her songs. I think I had heard "Big Yellow Taxi" on the radio but didn't put it together that it was written and performed by Joni originally. It wasn't until I was in my mid-30s and the advent of the You Tube, etc. that I finally found videos of her playing music. Of course she is one of the most important, genius songwriters ever. This is done as a tribute to her as a vibrant and still amazingly creative living legend. I'm not saying I'm near her level musically, just that I admire and respect her songwriting skills.
Next time someone stops me to ask if anyone's ever told me I look like Joni, I can say, "Yes I am aware of that, and I actually do play and sing a few of her songs!" Ha ha...

@serenitysings Thank you! You only think I'm prettier than Joni because I'm your friend! Love is blind and all that. It is strange when people say you resemble someone- you know the feeling. You are definitely prettier than Janis. However you and Janis both have beautiful souls. I think in your case it's more about the fact that you're a rockin chick with a guitar who belts vocally like Janis did. Watching you perform Janis tunes is amazing and super entertaining!!
