NSMB.com team captain Trevor Hansen and Todd 'Digger' Fiander explain the story behind the Mountain Equipment Co-op trail building grant. With the grant, the worn out 'King of the Shore' trail has become the only beginner trail on Fromme Mountain - the ultimate North Shore sweet spot. The North Shore classic 'Ladies Only' trail was able to receive fresh new ground work as well from the grant.

  • Riding on rocks is not what people want to do? It ain't mountain biking without rocks! I do understand his point, though, as people will go around a poor armor job. If you give people the option, they will instinctively take the path of least resistance. I think rock features make much more sense than wood since it lasts thousands of years as opposed to ten if you're lucky, but you gotta use what's readily available

  • good trail lots of fun!
