Very interesting. I saw the film in the early 70's and was amazed that such a film had been made at that time. Though it is dated (not many films really stand the test of time), the theme and story still leaves you disturbed and victim to nightmares. I would love to see a version with the inclusion of the ending scenes where the tree that Cleopatra holds is struck by lightning before being attacked by the freaks, and the duet as described here. It would have enhanced the terror.
