Although the Ecoboost is an excellent engine, I would still prefer the 5.0 L V8. If I had an unlimited budget, I would purchase a Platinum with the 5.0

@stardeceiver i know right! when people are buying a work truck, they get a regular cab with a base engine and long bed. not a crew cab, nav system, leather and all that lol. they need to test the base trucks

I'd take this site more seriously if they tested a base model every now and then! Let's see a regular cab, base engine, and an actually useable 8ft box!

@tehepicmashimallow They can get slightly better fuel economy that way. Less weight (in this case, in fuel) = easier on the engine

We don't even get the F series Fords in Australia.

We only get the Ford Falcon utes and Ford Ranger utes.
