Arduino + Processing 'Lightshow'

Having finally achieved my original goal of displaying audio volume on my analog meter, I decided to see what else I could come up with. Inspiration struck when I remembered that I had a pair of Tlc5940 PWM drivers!

The former multimeter is displaying the overall volume level of the song, and the row of LEDs are displaying the bottom 16 bands of a frequency spectrum generated on the computer by the Minim audio library.

All processing is done with, well, Processing! The Arduino is simply interpreting the serial stream being sent out by the computer. and controlling the PWM driver.

The entire setup is powered by an ATX power supply located offscreen, the USB connection is just for serial communication.

32-LED version coming never, as I don't have a large enough breadboard!

...While I was working on these functions (mental ques), I noticed the real speed of mind was not the speed on the speedometer of the vehicles, it was dependent upon non-dangerous vehicles and such. As such the "war" of bicycles and mass transit vs. fast cars, as you might remember, started in no small measure. My site has the details, yet, as you can see there are no slow stickers on vehicles visible. Indeed, they, are not nor will be visible, even though you signify it is there.
